Plans

Four kinds of plan, each with its own flat fee

Each fee covers the meetings, the drafts and the signing. Court and recording fees are the only extras, billed at what the county charges.

  • Wills and trusts

A will, or a living trust that keeps the house out of probate, with guardians named for children.

    About wills and trusts
  • Powers of attorney

A financial power of attorney and a health care directive, so the right person can act if you can’t.

    About powers of attorney
  • Special needs trusts

A trust that holds an inheritance for someone with a disability without counting against their benefits.

    About special needs trusts
  • Probate

For the person named in a will: the court filings, the notices, the accounts and the final distribution.

In their words

What clients told us after the signing

Shared with each client’s permission. Every family’s situation is different, and what we did for one says nothing about how another plan will turn out.

  • “We put our wills off for years because we had no idea what it would cost. The fee was in the first email, and we signed before the month was out.”

    Tasha W.
  • “Neng explained Mom’s trust to all four of us on one video call, my brother dialing in from Duluth. Nobody had to take a day off work.”

    Kia H.
  • “Pheng set up the trust for our son so his benefits stay put. For the first time there’s a plan for after us, and it’s written down.”

    Bernadette L.

Our lawyers

The three lawyers who will write your plan

You work with one of them from the first call to the signing, and that same lawyer answers when something changes later.

  • Lia Moua, smiling, in a black suit and white shirt against a white backdrop

    Lia Moua

    Founding attorney

Lia writes most of the firm’s will and trust plans, and she reads every draft aloud with the family before anyone signs.

  • Neng Thao in a navy suit, seated on a stool against a white backdrop

    Neng Thao

    Attorney, probate and trusts

Neng settles estates and trusts for the family members left in charge, and walks them through each step by video.

  • Pheng Lor in a black suit, arms crossed, against a white backdrop

    Pheng Lor

    Attorney, special needs planning

Pheng drafts special needs trusts and powers of attorney, often for parents planning for a grown son or daughter.
